Are you ready for another crochet party?
There is a new One Skein of Love crochet-along about to start and you are all welcome to join.
Next Thursday (10th of November) WINTRY FOREST CAL will kick off. Meanwhile, the Introduction file with all informations about the CAL is already available on Ravelry.
“Wintry Forest” is a blanket that celebrates my childhood imaginary winter forest… green trees, lots of snow and the freezing cold weather. In the forest there are reindeers and sleigh rides, gnomes playing tricks and the hoot of a lovely white owl, while inside an enchanted cabin a warm fire sings. I hope «Wintry Forest» can take your imagination to a lovely place like this. Perhaps you are luckier than I and have a real snowy mystic place near you (I have no snow here).
All crocheters, with different skills, can join the CAL. There are pics for every row to guide the new crocheters.
We will crochet a cosy blanket using overlay mosaic crochet technique, nice to snuggle under or great to gift to someone special, in the coming Christmas. You can play with the patterns or repeats and create other house decor itens, if you prefer.
Wintry Forest has 10 different patterns.
Pattern is written in English (US Terms) and there is a Spanish version (translation made by Julia Pazols). There is also a left-handed version created by Heather Vold. A print friendly version will be available too.
Pattern has written instructions, charts and photos for every row and border round.
CAL is hosted in OneSkeinofLove Crochet group, on Facebook. You are so very welcome to join, share your progress photos or doubts. The group is a very welcoming and helpful one.
