Hope is my new blanket pattern, and it has a special meaning for me. Every stitch was made with extra love and loving memories too. It is an homage to my father and too all the people that win or lost their battles against cancer.

I felt embraced by every stitch of this blanket, and I believe it can embrace all the survivors of these hard battles or like me, every relative of those not that lucky.
You can do it for family, friends or simple to donate to any organization in your town that helps people or cancer investigations.
Pattern can be found on Ravelry and Etsy.

Hope is created using mosaic overlay crochet technique.
It is written in English (US Terms) and has pictures to guide you through every row and round. It has charts for all blanket parts as well as a chart for the border. However, there is a print friendly version without pictures if you don’t need to follow them.
In my sample I used Hobbii Winter Glow and Hobbii Mega Ball DK and a 4.5mm hooks for the blanket body and a 4 mm hook for the border.
My blanket ended up with a final size of 103 cm x 135 cm (40.5” x 53”), approximately. You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
