Geometrics CAL

Geometrics CAL is live!!!

I am running a CAL – Geometrics Blanket – and you are so very welcome to join.

During 7 weeks we will be making a blanket using overlay mosaic crochet technique. Each week a new part will be released in Ravelry (every Thursday, around 2 o’clock pm). First part is already up and many baby Geometrics are showing up either in FB or Instagram.

You can use pattern to make a scarf, a table runner, a cushion, or any other thing you want. It is just a question of playing with patterns and repeats.

Pattern is written in English (US Terms) and there is a Spanish version (translation made by Julia Veloso).

This pattern is great to help you reduce your yarn stash so search in all your yarn boxes for nice colours and mixed them all up. The more colorful the better.

The CAL will be hosted in OneSkeinofLove Crochet group, on Facebook. You are so very welcome to join, share your progress or doubts. The group is a a very welcoming and helpful one.

If you are not a big fan of a Crochet-Along you can get the full pattern in my ETSY shop.

Materials for the CAL

In my sample I used a DK yarn and a 4 mm hook. You are free to use whatever yarn and hook you want, and all the colours you want. It is all up to you.

Finishing Size

My blanket ended up with a size of 110 cm x 140 cm (43.3” x 55”), approximately. You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
