Well, hello everyone. It has been quiet a long time since my last post and so many things happened during this time for me, for all of you and for the whole entire world. But, looks like COVID took all the attentions, right? I hope you and your families are all doing ok and things are more under control in your countries.
I have designed a lot. I published some new patterns and had, and still am, working on some secret projects I can not reveal yet. Sorry…

This is a very special blanket to me.
Last day 21 of April I lost one of my cats. She was only 11 years old and was so beautiful, funny and so sweet. Playing all the time she was always asking to be pet. She could be pet for 24 hours and still asking for more. She left a huge hole in my heart and I still see her in all her favourite spots, in the house.
My new design took her name as a humble homage to all she gave us. “Gretchen” was her name and is now my blanket name. She loved to hide under bed and couch blankets, by the way.
This is Gretchen Blanket…
This blanket is made using overlay mosaic crochet technique. You only need to know how to make single and double crochet stitches. Every row is worked in a different color and ends are hidden in a double border so only 3 or 4 ends to sew in.
It is a great blanket to reduce your yarn stash as you can pick one main color and use lots of different contrast colors. I used Stylecraft Special DK in Denim as the main color and 4 contrast colors but you can use as many as you want.
