Calling Spring Mandala Framed

I love mandalas and I decided to make some, using lace yarn, so they can be so tiny they can fit in a frame. As I can not paint, I will crochet my “decoration paintings”.

I started by Calling Spring Mandala. (you can find the pattern here)

I made it using Scheepjes Bonbon yarn, in Garden Rose, Colonial Rose and Saffron colours, and a 1.75mm hook. A challenge for my poor eyes but really worthed it… I think 💗

After the mandala was ready I sew it with an invisible handstitch to a peace of linen. Then I  attatched it to the back part of the frame. And voilá… easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Enjoy it 😘
